15 Weeks
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, Baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Our fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though I still can't feel the movements.

14 Weeks
Our adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

We Made a BIG Decision!
Tonight Daddy and I made a very big decision... We decided that we are NOT going to find out Baby's sex. We didn't find out with Miles, and it really did not bother either of us. Around 38 or 39 weeks I was ready to know, but it was still fun not knowing until he was here. This time around, Daddy really did not want to find out, however I kind of did. The main reason I wanted to find out with Baby is because I was too drugged and too stressed when Miles was born that I do not remember being told that he was a boy. It wasn't until I was in recovery, when I asked Chris if we had a boy or a girl. While I was and still am sad that I never heard that we had a boy, it was a wonderful moment when Chris was able to introduce me to our son. The more I think about it, I don't think I would have found out any other way. We personally think that finding out that we are having a boy or a girl by ultrasound would be so terribly anticlimactic after having Miles, so we are doing it again... We will find out when God says it is time for us to know.

Baby's First Flowers
Today I received flowers at work. I know they are for Chris, Miles and I however, it is more fun to say they are for Baby.
Here is what the card said:
Congratulations on Baby Caldwell. Dad and I are so very happy for all three of you. We can't wait to meet our new wonderful grandchild.
Love,
Nana and Pop
There you go Baby... Your first flowers. Blue for Boy and Pink for Girl! Isn't Nana thoughtful!!!

Baby's First Run
I have finally been cleared to run again, so this morning I went out for a jog with a friend. I knew my lung capacity was down, but wow I had no idea just how bad it has already gotten. We made it 2.5 miles, but wow, that was the must difficult 2.5 miles I have ever run. At one point I swear I wanted to rip open my chest so that my lungs could expand. It was so pathetic.

Week 12
First trimester: Check! The nausea, fatigue, mood swings, and bathroom dashes should soon fade, but (sorry!) headaches and dizziness will probably get more intense. The good news: We're about to embark on the second trimester, when mood and energy levels generally peak.
Baby's now the size of a plum!As we move into the second trimester, Baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of Baby's systems are fully formed.

Week 11
By now, we're very familiar with the prenatal symphony of a rumbling tummy. Small, frequent meals help with the discomfort. I am trying to make sure to eat and drink slowly to prevent swallowing extra air.
Baby's now the size of a lime!
Our fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through it. But fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds, and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.
